When you murder your spouse In a room at your house Bloodily breaking your marriage vows Then make sure not to clean Only the murder scene Ev’ry cop here will know what I mean Chorus: ‘Cause if you only clean one room It will stand out from the rest Leaving room to assume What otherwise would be a wild guess Life may continue just fine If you take your time And clean up the entire house of the crime Then you can safely put forth A missing persons report As long as no one can prove you know more Chorus: But if you only clean one room It will stand out from the rest Leaving room to assume You’re not completely honest at best 'November 2019 while watching a documentary about or reading about criminal investigations I got inspired and subsequently wrote down a song idea that when you kill someone inside your house with a lot of blood as a result you have to clean all the other rooms as well, for if you only mop, scrub and vacuum the scene of the murder this one room will stand out because of its cleanliness compared to the others. On the final day of 2019 I wrote a mid tempo song about this much overlooked fact. For the music for the verses I used a chord pattern that had been laying around since February 2019, while the music for the chorus got written on the spot. The song was first performed during a streaming gig on June 25, 2021 -- right after its release -- and was done two more times until April 17, 2022.'

From the day I was born I wanted to be a serial killer Killing people for fun As society's ultimate mirror From the day I was born Mankind fell prey to my scorn Now that I am old and wise I’m having the time of my life Chorus: I'm a serial killer from birth It’s why I was put on this earth To murder is what I prefer After a long day at work So I went out to buy A .22 and a lot of bullets And then I killed a guy And finally lived life to its fullest Just one dead is too short Serial killers must kill three or more *) Before I could I got arrested And to this one cop I then said Chorus *) In the USA and most other countries that is (even Denmark and Iceland). In the Netherlands we agreed on a minimum of two victims to qualify as a serial killer (murdered in separate crimes). ‘Late November 2017 I got the idea of writing a song about a would-be serial killer who gets arrested too soon, and therefore misses out on becoming a serial killer. Eleven months and about a week later I finally started singing the title to the song and playing the guitar chords to go with the vocal melody. That same evening I wrote the lyrics, with some minor changes done in May 2021. It appears that the main character in this slow to mid tempo song has a day job and tries to becoming a serial killer in his spare time after work. But luckily the cops arrest him after just one victim. From The Day! was played live four times from May 14 until October 28, 2022.’

It’s more than twenty years now this murderous life did begin Once I killed the first I knew it would happen again Sure, I had some cooling off time But never for too long ‘cause I’m One with an urge for homicide dwelling within Chorus: The weapon subject to change No single murder the same The victims all differ in age And in obscurity I remain None of the killings have been connected this far And, God willing, I won’t come up on the radar My presence forever unknown I am in this story alone I’ve been on an anonymous murder trip from the start Chorus: The weapon subject to change No single murder the same The victims all differ in age And in obscurity I remain I am not looking for fame They will find some other to blame So regardless of how much lives I’ve claimed I forever will be unnamed Yes, regardless of how much lives I’ve claimed I forever will be unnamed ‘The story of serial killer Sean Vincent Gillis (a.k.a. The Other Baton Rouge Killer) was the inspiration for this song’s lyrics. He could go on for about ten years, because the murders were never connected and therefore his presence remained unknown to the men and women on the good side of the law. The title (which -- like practically every Ramirez song -- is a line from the lyrics) and lyrics can be seen as a nod to Danny’s careerlong music underground status as well, and in the first line I chose for 'more than twenty years' to match my own murderfolk singer-songwriter history. The chord progressions for the chorus are pretty much in a traditional Danny Ramirez vein and may at one or two points be similar to some deep cut from my back catalogue (the 2004 The Night Stalker!-tape), while the verses have quite interesting vocal and guitar chord melodies going on, if I may say so.’

Chorus: I'm armed and I am on a mission Against whom I’m against I’m armed and I am opposition Ready for revenge My manifesto posted online Now it is my time to shine Today I’ll be headline news, I’ve got nothing to lose Chorus Preparing to take on those I despise and oppose Today I’ll be headline news, I’ve got bullets to use Chorus ‘In October 2016 and March 2017 I rewrote the unreleased February 2002 Ramirez song I Am Armed And I Have A Bad Temper!, but wasn’t satisfied especially with the music. October 2019 I listened to some recently recorded music ideas and used the 2016-2017 lyrics as the basis for a new song on a July 2019 conceived mid tempo chord progression. In the process the title and theme took the complete opposite of the original 2002 and 2016-2017 rewritten lyrics which instead of a random spree killer now tell of someone who is in murderous opposition of a defined group of people, without getting into specifics. My favourite phrase 'Tomorrow I’ll Be Headline News/Today I’ve Got Bullets To Use' from the 2002 and 2016-2017 versions of I Am Armed And I Have A Bad Temper! nevertheless returns in this song, albeit a bit adjusted and mixed up to fit the 2019 written music. As in the original lyrics no one gets killed yet but preparations are made.’

Danny's 2021 EP.

The cover shows one of the final CCTV-images of Iwona Wieczorek who disappeared in July 2010 in Gdansk, Poland. The man walking behind her never came forward and remains a person of interest. Sadly, Iwona's fate is still unclear to this day.
