about

'This one initially was kind of a rocky song, leaning a bit towards Glenn Danzig, Iggy Pop and late 1960s Doors alike rock music played on an acoustic guitar. In March 2017 I recorded the tune for the first time, but this version never got released. When in May 2019 I made a new recording of it for the Corpses In My Closet! EP I came up with a bassline that somehow replaced the rockiness with some sort of folk, country or Americana atmosphere and also made the song more lively and uplifting and maybe even added a vague feeling of hope, which of course goes well with the title of this song. The lyrics deal with a killer who hides his victim in such a way that the corpse never will be found, although it is not disclosed how this is achieved. The bottom line is that family and friends of the deceased will remain hopeful as long as no dead body has turned up.'

lyrics

Chorus:
Sure you can still try
To stop me when I
Take your life, you die without a sound
After I’m done there
Is only one care
Take your corpse to where it won’t be found

It’s the life I live
It’s the shit I give
And it is the only way I know
It’s already clear
That your end is near
You will never ever come back home

Chorus

They will have no clue
Where to search for you
You could be anywhere around the globe
They will fear you’re dead
But they won’t accept
As long as there’s no body there is hope

Chorus
