about

'This is the first Ramirez song ever written and ever recorded. The original title of it was I’m A Serial Killer, but the next day I decided to use some words of the chorus as the title for the song and add an exclamation mark to it. I Would Like To Kill You! is about the general feeling of wanting to take somebody’s life for no particular reason, which of course shouldn’t be an option to anyone of us. The lyrics are based upon some primitive Chris Isaak alike riff. The adding of the word ‘live’ to the title of the song suggests that the recordings were made during a Ramirez show, but this isn’t the case. The occasional applauding and firing of guns in the audience during the song was taken from a Technics sx-KN3000-keyboard. Initially Ramirez was planned to record only this one song, which explains why the lyrics aren’t about one killer but about several ways of murdering. At the time Danny decided to make it a live song and gave the name Danny Ramirez and Friends to the project to account for the bunch of musicians you hear. Whoever they were, they’re doing a great job. For instance listen to the fantastic leadguitar halfway of the song, right before the breakdown. Nonetheless, I Would! was only played live four times at real Ramirez gigs: at the first gig on April 2, 1999, at the second gig on December 24, 1999, at the third gig on December 31, 1999, and at Danny’s comeback show -- his fourth gig -- on February 22, 2002.'

lyrics

How I would like to shoot you in your head
And watch you bleed until you're almost dead
How I would like to tear you apart
And afterwards to throw you from a bridge in a bag

Chorus:
Ooh, how I would like to kill you
Just for one time I can't control my thoughts
Ooh, how I would like to kill you
And when I'm satisfied I might kill one more

How I would like to kill you without a sound
And bury you where you would not be found
How I would like to share my fun with you
But I am selfish and sharing is not cool

Chorus

How I would like to shoot you in your head
And watch you bleed until you're almost dead
How I would like to share my fun with you
But I am selfish and sharing is not cool

Chorus
