about

'The title I came up with on the same February day as the above My Sedan!-title, but some of the music was written in December 2017 while it all came together in September 2018. The lyrics tell of a necrophile love affair that is coming to an end because all of the soft tissue on the dead body is gone and it is for the most part bones now. In this slow to mid tempo love song the murderer looks back on the good times he had, says goodbye and unfolds his plans to kill again with the apparent aim of starting yet another necrophile love affair. Keep in mind that Danny's lyrics are always about other people and he never sings about himself. The song appeared on the set list for the first time on July 27, 2019 and still gets played every now and then.'

lyrics

Now that your soft tissue is almost gone
And you’ve become nothing but bones
The day has come for me to move on
Without your corpse I am alone

Chorus:
Your skeletonization process has begun
Taking away much of the fun
We must say goodbye, I’ll get another one
Time again to load my gun

You were the best and you were always there
When I came to visit you
You were quite lifeless and I didn’t care
But now it seems we are through

Chorus
