lyrics

This one is named after a surf spot in Ireland, that gets waves up to 20 meters high. Mullaghmore was written on March 11, 2018, and despite the exciting surfing conditions at the actual surf location is quite laid back. It achieves a bit of suspense in the somewhat dark sounding lead breaks transitioning to a mid 1960s US West Coast jangle pop sound as popularized by the Byrds, and getting back to the upbeat and at times even (20 meters high!) uplifting nature of the first part of the song.
