'In order to have another Ramirez release out in the last days of 2018, I decided to make a two song X-mas Bandcamp single. This slow to mid tempo one's title of course is a take on the more traditional X-mas line 'X-mas is cold when you have no one to hold', and tells of a naive spree killer who asks Santa a new gun for X-mas, 'cause his old ones all 'came and went'. To fit the X-mas theme the music and vocal melodies are quite traditional and obviously inspired by UK glamrock band Mud's 1974 hit Lonely This Christmas. X-mas Is Cold! got its first live performance on December 16, 2018, and was played again on December 22, 2022.'
